| The Alaskan Malamute is classified by the AKC as a working breed. There are so many things you can do with your malamutes - agility, obedience, rally obedience, tracking, lure coursing. In addition, the Alaskan Malamute Club of America offers working titles for activities that malamutes have been traditionally used for; Sledding, Back Packing, and Weight Pulling.
